I would have lived in the complex for a year now, and I honestly can not wait to move out. This has been the worst place I have lived. The maintance is horrible, the people in front office do not care about complains. They do not fix problems you may have in your household until you basically harrase them to. They are very unorganized. The elevator to my appartment doesn’t work and they have done nothing to fix it. they didn’t open their outdoor pool til the end of July. I would highly suggest looking somewhere else to live.
My family is signing a lease for the 3rd time. I love living here, close to the interstate; indoor/outdoor swimming pool, 2 convenient workout areas.
I love also that the park is across the street. Not to mention an awesome school district!!
I would suggest Kirkwood Bluffs to anyone.
I definitely recommend Kirkwood Bluffs to live! The staff is extremely friendly and professional! If I ever have a maintenance issue, it is repaired fast and well done! I have a loft with a spectacular view…I love it!
I could not imagine living in this place for another year! The 2nd day after I moved in I turned in the paper with the needed repairs to my apartment. It has been 11 months later and multiple phone calls and yet they still are not repaired. My front door has not latched properly since day 1. People litter the area with cigarette buts, so if you get a lower level apartment don’t invite friends over because it always looks like you live in a trailer park because of all the trash. There are spiders galore, and when the pest control man comes he only sprays in one spot then leaves. The apartments have been “renovated” meaning cheap artificial hardwood floors, and new laminate on the counters….. That’s it. Because the windows/sliding doors are not energy efficient, get ready to freeze in the winter and burn up in the summer. The ac/heat constantly runs just making the electric/gas bills that much higher. But what really tops it off is trying to charge additional money if I renew my leaser when the advertised price of my unit is LESS than it was when I moved in. Honestly it’s just not worth the money, nice location but old out dated facilities. I am truly upset as this is my first bad experience in an apartment community. I am never late with my rent and work so much that my neighbors often forget I live here. Yet for 40.00 shy of 1k a month I shouldn’t feel as I do, I should be happy and content and honestly for the price there are a lot newer, energy efficient, and updated places. The Mills Management company does not have a good reputation I now know of maintaining their properties. And I didn’t even mention the water damage from my above neighbors that was never taken care of, or the accumulation of black mold that I have recently found behind my laundry room wall. But my lawyer is handling all of my problems from this day forward.
